Afterlife is always recruiting exceptional players of any class. Applicants are expected to be among the best of their class, with in depth knowledge of game mechanics. We are one of the first guilds to start raiding in MMOs, dating back to EQ. Many of our current members are known contributors to various theorycrafting threads and maintain class specific websites; our raiders consistently rank on the top of various scoreboards. Our guild leader is the creator of the DKP loot system and thottbot.com. You must be top notch player just to be considered average in this guild.

We want players who play a lot, who come to raid on time and prepared. People who not only know their role, but the tools of everyone in the raid, so they can better understand their job and where they fit in. Players who think for themselves, who can adjust on the fly and make split second judgements. Gamers who have stamina and endurance, who can perform at the top of their game, every attempt, hours into the raid. Exceptional raid awareness and knowledge is standard. The ability to improve from and accept criticism is a must, excuses for repeated mistakes is not accepted.

Afterlife was established in 1999 and consists primarily of adults. We expect newcomers to mesh well into our mature, drama free atmosphere. We have no tolerance for trolls, loot whores, flakes, or any other behavior that is generally frowned upon by the community.

During progression, we raid Sunday-Thursday from 18:00(6:00 PM) – 23:00(11:00 PM) PST. Non-progression times are more lenient, but you MUST be prepared to raid these times when new content is released. Applicants are expected to exceed 90% raid attendance.

We require all raiders to have Ventrilo and a microphone is highly recommended.

Afterlife uses a DKP loot system which has recently been updated to better accomidate newer members to the guild.

Put some thought into filling out your application and take care to answer all the required questions fully. Incomplete applications will be discarded. Applications are kept private and are only seen by Afterlife members.
